B & Q installing a conservatory

Hi I was wondering if any one has any experience with a conservatory bought from B & Q and/or installation from them? We would like a traditional style with a dwarf wall in white. The guy in store reckons we're looking at about 6k.
That seems a lot to me but is it an average price?
Any help or advice out there?
Thanks

Hi Lulabell!
Not had any direct experience of them myself although their installation service always seem to get a real slating on Watchdog.
If you give more exact details of dimensions/materials I expect somebody here should be able to give you a ballpark figure.

The surveyor is coming round next week so I'll be able to give more detail then. But basically the size will be 8ft by 12ft approx, with french doors and also to the left of us, our house is set at a right angle to next doors. So we would need to adjoin it to their wall, therefore we only need two walls built I think? One of the walls will be a dwarf wall and the one with the french doors will be full glass. We haven't committed to anything with B & Q - just taking full advantage of their free planning/surveying service!
