I have a Playstation 3 to give away for free.
Hi
I have a Playstation 3 and lots of games to give away. I want to give it away to a childrens home/charity. But I have no idea who or where to send it to.
Could you lovely people give me some suggestions please?
I live in Birmingham but am willing to send it elsewhere if the right proposal come in !
Thanks for your help

There are as you probably know very few children's homes left these days.
I don't think they have a presence in Birmingham, but if they wanted it my vote would go to Kids Company. I think they're just London and Bristol.
Or I'd try the children's ward at your local hospital.
Or I'd suggest googling children's charities Birmingham and seeing if any appeal to you.
Be prepared to be asked if you can get it PA tested ... shouldn't cost a lot, but they may not be able to accept it otherwise!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Maybe like a youth group or something. Birmingham has some very disadvantaged areas as I'm sure your aware“Washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral. ”

What about a children's hospice? There are several in and around Birmingham.
Acorns is one that I know and have raised money for in the past

How about the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham. I think that would be the ideal location - or alternatively, contact Liverpool's Alder Hey Childrens Hospital
Either way, excellent gesture and I'm sure they will thank you for that0 -
