Bosch classixx 6 1400 express won't spin

Hey,
My machine (BOSCH Classixx 6 1400 Express) washes normally, the pump is clear and will spin when empty or sometimes with various loads. Just recentlt it will not spin with just my bath mat in which it used to (one of my cat wees on it from time to time!). I am thinking that this is due to an unbalanced load so given that it used to work ok but does not now I thinking this may be the unbalanced load sensor or the suspension? It does seem to run concentrically when I look at it with just the bath mat. Also it starts to turn and then I hear a click so this supports the sensor theory.
I am very practical so want to handle any reapair but need some direction. Is the suspension easy to replace?
I look forward to any help. thx

I had a similar problem to that on my 2 year old Bosch wher it didn't seem to have enough power to be able to spin with washing in. Unfortunately it was some sort of speed controller in the motor itself so I had to have a new motor.0

If it is only happening on the spin cycle with a heavy soaking wet item in then it sounds like a slipping belt, I recently had exactly the same problem on the same model of washing machine I got a replacement belt from eSpares and fitted it myself.
The worst part of the job was disconnecting the hoses and getting the machine out to access the back, the old belt had stretched and was nearly two inches longer than the new one.0
