    hi can i join please
Can I join please I want to try and save for Christmas

You can most definitely join us
, millionaire-to-be and nikki2002-2008. A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Ah...I'm with you now, 32b3, I thought I'd mucked up again.

Calm yourself, Lynne, there's Christmas still to go yet. Enjoy the looking forward - as my old English teacher used to say "It's a huge part of the holiday itself" bless her. :A
I have now transferred my £20 from the holding pot into my sealed pot and I have £28.09 left over from last weeks shopping budget so I will put that into the holding pot for now:)

VERY well done, newlifeahead!! Keep that up and you'll have a huge pot in November. :D
I have kept my target at £150 Sue so that I'm not too daunted by it. Our income is set to drop yet again in April/May 2014 so there will be another tightening of the belt (albeit a small one) If I get any small fleabay sales during the year it might be possible to increase the target a bit then.

Of course the No is lucky, little_sweetie, they ALL are! ...and you wondered where that £1 came from! Dear oh dear. I'm wishing you well for next year don't you worry. ;)

2p's good, Eyebright, and a whole lot better than no p! Well done your OH. :j

It's wonderful to see you over here now too, LAM!! :j I began to think you weren't coming 'home'. :( Now then, please pop 27th November in your diary/calendar. So good to see you. Keeping in contact will help you too. :D
Out for lunch today also its our great grandsons 2nd birthday he had problems when he was born with his heart so he is very special also naughty a proper two year old!! So going visiting him. Need to post cards late as usual !!

Thank you SUE for my star if you were going to mess up it was definitely going to be me wasn't it :rotfl:

Yes, LC 2, where there's problems you have to be involved! You were an absolute :A or everyone would have put them on wrong!

Is it really his 2nd Birthday already??? Isn't it splendid to know he's able to be healthy enough to be naughty, fantastic! A VERY Happy Birthday to him please!! I'm not putting a cake on as you'll have it on the way there. :rotfl:

    Good for you, siju!!

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to check your new numbers as they're all done now and need changing. You'll see that there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk and numbers there that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers asap folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly do it again as I made a dreadful ****up!

    Very many thanks indeed.
    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart

There you are you see, sams, it's worked out just fine, you'll soon be saying you're proud of it.

Ahh sad news I'm afraid, overnight the balloon went down, and my lovely little christmas bauble-come-slug now resembles a shrivelled prune, It was not dry and sank with the balloon. Not a pretty sight. Ah well. I am now going to use an old savings tin I have, and sellotape the lid on. I am not destined to be an artist maybe, but a saver I shall be!

I've had a sealed pot that has taken me the last few (5) years to fill  and I'm planning on opening it just before the new year and starting afresh in 2014

Please let us know how much was in there. I am intrigued!!

Number [STRIKE]1726[/STRIKE] 071 reporting for duty!

Guess what?! I put a deposit down on the little girl i wanted :D

I managed to convince mummy! When i went to pay the lady, she got them all out and after a while the one my mum wanted took herself to bed whereas the others were happy to sleep on us. I want our puppy to want to be with us!

I'm already researching where i can take her to agility training (can't start until around a year old :( but i have found some classes she can start in feb to get her used to other dogs and start basic training) and trying to learn how to groom her and keep her coat shaved and she's only 6 weeks old haha. At least i will be prepared :D I'm just sooo excited :D So if there are any poodle groomers or puppy trainers that want to give me advice... ;)

On a potting front, i took £10 out my purse last night because i had my niece and nephew helping at the bird garden. None of us needed the money so will pot the money when i get home again :) I'm doing well this year, long may it continue
