    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all, hope all are well.
I'm back and ready to get back on the potting track.

little_sweetie - we went to Torremolinos and had a nice break.

Sue - I just wish we could have brought he weather back!! A little too hot at times (for our liking).

lulu 92 - welcome and good luck with your savings, though you are doing excellent.

    I've potted £10 today in various coins - 4 x £2 coins included.

Off to do the washing!! :(

    Have a great weekend.

Thanks everyone! Think I'm still in shock was up against some candidates who we're acting headteachers - yikes! It's a big move for me, a new education authority and lots of change to be lead and managed. Should start in August but all depends on when all the paper work is completed as I need to give current employer 2 months notice. Now I really must get my dissertation finished have restricted myself to no visiting and setting up new jib stuff until it's finished!

Off to empty my purse so I get some potting done!

  • Evening all, hope you're all well and enjoying the sunshine?

I've been potting £1 and £2 coins in a sealed jar, and smaller coins in an unsealed one so I counted the small change and was disappointed to see there is only c£14. I don't pot 50p coins (for a reason that sounds very stupid, which is that they are too much to count as small change and would take up too much space in my £1/2 sealed pot, I know, bonkers right?!)

Hope my £1/2 coin pot gives a better yield when I eventually open it!

    Hi everyone! :santa2:

Have been quietly potting...bought some bargain Christmas presents recently. I am sure the children will love them and quiet a few were 75% off!! :D I have budgeted £10 a month to buy Christmas presents with. So should hopefully get them all for £100. ;)

Still hoping that I'll have enough in the pot to pay for Christmas treats - I would like a real tree, wreath and some money towards food. :xmastree:
