Just have to say it I've just spent 90 mins trying to register my card so that I can check my payg phone messages.
No idea still what i'm doing wrong.
Anyone else find trying to top up with Three out of hours difficult?
I can't begin to say what's gone wrong....
and where would I find my pc connection manager????
Why can't they tell you that on the website? or if they do why isn't it obviously visible?

Grrrr
so not simple, lol.
If it were that simple i'd not have been sat there for 90 mins trying to sort it.
I bought a voucher the next day and I've topped up now. But I had a really important message on my phone and couldn't access it. If a company makes it so difficult out of hours to do anything - then just shut up shop completely I say, don't give people the run around with instructions that are not clear and not user friendly.
Two days later - guess i'm still irritated with it....but then it happened before when I was at an event miles away from any shops anywhere....couldn't do it then either.0 -
and using a card to top up, first it has to be registered.....then they send a password to your pc connection manager but don't tell you where the f'ing hell that is.....
then you get a password texted through to your phone - you use it and it doesn't work.
and on other occasions when topping up mobile broadband - had to abort it cos get to the final pay screen and it freezes. That's happened to friends too, on other computers.....no point waiting a while or a few days cos it still happens...
just too many problems I say.
People should not be spending whole afternoons and evenings on a company's website trying to work all this stuff out - we are not getting paid to familiarise ourselves so much or put so much time in. I've had enough of it. Too many company's now want you to spend all your time on their websites....
back to nursing my thrombosis from sitting at the computer too long.
Guess i'm still cross - but whatever as of next month I'm with another company0 -
Why are you looking for that for a PAYG phone? Connection Manager is for USB modems.
For a phone, look here
yep if you click on forgotten your password you get told your new password has been sent to your pc connection manager.
but they don't tell you where the hell it is
and what's more :mad::mad::mad:
that screen has started me off again :rotfl:0 -
It should only send it to the connection manager *if* you're using a data only sim!!
It should either send it as a SMS or to an email account!
