Bosch are not bad for both value and performance.

    Zanussi also not bad.

If you want real quality stuff that will last an age, Miele or the new ISE10 ones.

We're launching on at the end of this month, but it ain't cheap on the ISE10 range, ten year guarantee on it. ;)

We will be doing an ISE5 one, 5 year warranty, but that's probably at least two to three months away at best.

I'd strongly recommend a sensor dryer though as they cut off once the clothes are dry, so no overrun on the heating and that can save a LOT of electricity. But I wrote a guide for dryers not so long ago, from this link.

I had a condenser dryer and it caught fire.
I now have an indesit a120 i think, it cost £120, it's very basic but bloody brilliant. Got it from Comet with free delivery, and they take away the packaging and old machine f.o.c as well.

We've got a Bosch Condenser Dryer and have been very please with it. Took out the extra 5 Year Warranty as well as it was on offer at the time.

Can't believe the amount of water that it takes out of stuff and just to think that was going into my Garage previously
