Surely the benefits/council agencies would be the best people to ask?0

I would have thought your tenancy allows for "quiet enjoyment" of your property, meaning you can do what you like within reason.
Years ago, the decision on whether someone was living with you was based on whether you had meals together rather than sleepovers.
The two nights a week you refer to sounds like child maintenance claims rather than partners.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. As long as they can prove they live elsewhere. Council Tax payments, house in their name etc. This should show they are permanently resident elsewhere.0

hmmmm but he isnt permanently living anywhere really.as he works on the river hes away working most of the time on the boat.so i only get to see him weekends most of the time.
i only ask as iv been called into an interview with the council regarding my claim and strangely they sent an identical letter addressed to my partner to my house i called them and said he doesnt live here and i may not be able to get the message to him about the interview and they said that was ok.but im just worried that he isnt allowed to stay here0 -
Its 3 nights they are allowed to stay over, anymore and its classed as living there. I have a friend who just recently went through it letting her childs father stay over at the weekends.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
