I don't know if the operator is ParkingEye, but if they are you could point out to the MD that boycotting the store is exactly what ParkingEye recommend.
Here are ParkingEye's own words:
"ParkingEye does not believe that the terms set out by the landholder are unfair. However, if the defendant believed them to be, they should not have parked in the car park."

Good Idea about FB!

Oh I see you wrote to him but we've seen from his recent replies to people (after initially being amenable) he has been 'got at' by Parking Eye recently.
Have you looked at the 'Successful complaints about PPCs' sticky thread because you seem to have missed post #3 there. Under 'Welcome Break' I tell people NOT to direct complaints to him for this very reason and instead I suggest a phone number where they are more helpful - or phoning the local Manager at that site. Don't mention the previous complaint, ring as if it's a completely new complaint on Monday! Bite your lip about Rod McKie and you may find that WB Head Office or local management do actually cancel this. Don't do the fb complaint, 'softly softly catchee monkey...' as the saying goes.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You don't just write and ask for a POPLA code, you need a couple of appeal points. What points did you use?0

Hi Guys Dad,
this is what I put in appeal to PE
I do not wish to pay this amount since
A) The images show nothing other than the front section of a car with the same numberplate visible in daylight, and night.£100 is an outrageous sum for an hour's parking
C) Signage was unclear about any limitations
D) The driver was a paying customer
I have not posted yet though, so please let me know if this is not sufficient. Another poster above said that that was fine to get the rejection and popla code.
CM no I missed that thread and I had read all the WB ones I found. Mind you am perpetually knackered so unsurprising really. Good idea! Will try that one. Clearly this scheme is yielding a lot for WB....
Thanks SFG x0 -
