I have a ton of dry logs. What would that equate to in heating terms compared to gas etc????
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I have a ton of dry logs. I have a woodburner.

Lets say I paid £50 for them.

What heat output can I get for this £50 compared with £50 of gas /electric

I'll let you do the maths but here's a fuel energy comparison list

    Brilliant, just what I wanted.

Just checked out the coal and smokeless values, given that I know the actual cost of those compared to gas.

The thing that is way out is the 1000kg, (tonne) of wood we were offered, ok, it may be quite wet so weigh lighter in real comparison but is a mix of old hard and fruit wood, seems to have a street cost of £520:D:D:D

Best take quick advantage of that as it is a 1 off:money:
