Not by sending reverent letters to the parking company (Mr. Erskine Harewood of Elstree), that's for sure. Why would they listen to you? They just want your money.
At risk of sounding as grumpy as Coupon Mad sometimes does, you could read this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822Je suis Charlie.0 -
You have to wonder why they are still there!

http://www.expressandstar.com/news/2011/03/03/parking-fines-firm-admits-misleading-motorists/The retail park is now considering other firms to take over OPC's role.
Especially as this happened in 2011. Must be one hell of a tendering exercise. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Did this company not lose very heavily in court once, IIANM, they had to cough up massive damages.
I know that they caused serious embarrassment to The Prudential in Reading who had to sack them.

mas4rr Please follow the advice in the NEWBIES thread linked above to the letter.
Use the standard template appeal for the PPC and POPLA. Bluntly, looking at your writing style, if you try to embellish or add anything, I fear you may screw it up. Please don't treat this advice as me having a go, it is just that your overt politeness and lack of direct attack is not the way to deal with PPCs.
Post up your appeal here first for a 2nd look and with our help, you will save your money.0 -

OB Services V. Thurlow is one of the landmark parking cases as it was decided on appeal after the motorist lost in the Small Claims Court.
The court decided that:-
- sum amounted to an unenforceable penalty clause
- no loss caused by breach of contract
- common discount period reinforces lack of provable loss
Here is Colin Thurlow's summary of his case http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=627570
