I have just set up a new DSL-924T ADSL router in place of my old DSL-G604T, which was also wireless.
What I would like to know is can I use the old G604T to extend my wireless range by using the ethernet connections on the back of the router and linking it wirelessly to the new DSL-924T.
If this is possible, does anybody know how to configure the G604T to act in this way.

So you want to configure the G604T as a Wireless Extender/Access Point?
Unfortunately the router will only let things connect to it wirlessly incoming, NOT outgoing.
Unless there is a firmware hack that changes this, you wont be able to get one router to transmit to the other router....[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Yes, I wanted to ethernet a pc into the G604T then wirelessly link that to the new 924T.
In theory this would have made the pc connection faster because the wireless card inside it is quite old.
I will just have to get a newer wireless pci card, and put the G604T on Ebay.
Thanks for the advice.0 -
No problem
Just to let you know the type of device that would let you do this would be:
