PRADA Handbag authenticity

I recently won a PRADA handbag in a competition run by No1Brands4You on Facebook.
I've arrived home today and after doing a little research on the internet, I believe the bag is not authentic. Apparantely, the "R" in the name should have a slightly curved leg as opposed to a straight leg. The R should be the same on all the markings including the lining.
I checked the bag and although the markings on the metal fittings do have a slightly curved leg, the interior material is a straight leg. Additionally, there is a little tarnishing on some of the metal fittings and this too is a giveaway.
They sent me a message asking if I had received the bag and I have replied that I have but would like to have the bag authenticated before I contact them further (they want a photograph of me with the handbag).
I'm no expert and am looking for some advice on my next step. I'm not sure how I can get the bag authenticated? Should I contact Consumer Direct/Trading Standards.
Thanks in advance. I hope I can get this sorted one way or another.

Hi,personally I would contact Prada for advice.
Maybe via a Fb message: https://www.facebook.com/Prada0 -
Most brands wont authenticate products for their customers
here is the Prada logo

and here is the actual trademark

With it being a win, I am sure Prada will help xMAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0

Also, if you take it locally somewhere that deals in that sort of product, as if you were after a price to sell it, they will probably be able to tell you if it's real or fake.
Blu XI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.0 -
Were any of the metal trimmings wrapped with tissue paper? Fakes often have this - authentic designer bags never come like that. Is there a dust bag with it?0

Thanks for the replies.
The bag came in a white dust bag with the printed logo on, no tissue paper on the trimmings. The 4 trimmings underneath do not have their logo engraved as they should. There is also a certificate of authenticity and another doc with a barcode (the other side says Prada but it's upside down to the date on the other side.
I've had another look at it and can also see some glue along the seam on the bottom of the bag.
I've messaged Prada but no response as of yet.
I would like to find somewhere locally who can have a look at it.
Wasn't very pleased...on my 40th birthday of all days.

Do you have this writing under the zipper?
And the little white number0 -
Surely a genuine Prada handbag would look absolute top quality like it belongs in one of those expensive department stores. If it looks badly made and tatty then it is a fake. I bought a Dior bag years ago and it had a fake receipt and fake certificate of authenticity but it was obviously a fake.0

To be totally honest, having looked at the No1Brands4You website, I'd think it's almost certainly a fake... Sorry.2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent0

I'm sure the people on the PurseBlog would be able to authenticate it for you, you'd just need to follow the instructions in the first post for which photos they'd need you to post to be able to tell, I'm sure if you told them that you'd won it or something and would like to check if it's authentic because you have some doubts they'd be able to help you. There are some paid authenticators but I would think the above is the best option for you.
This is a link to the Authenticate this Prada thread on there
Hope that helps!
P.s. Happy belated 40th, I hope apart from the worry of this you had a great day!0
