  • OK, I have taken those two bits out so will submit online and post tomorrow.

    Thanks again!
  • I've been reading a lot more threads this evening and looking at the POPLA website. If Smart Parking reject my appeal which undoubtedly they will, what grounds would I have for an appeal to POPLA?

If there are no grounds then perhaps I should just pay the £40 before the 14 day reduced period is up?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

    :)

I have given you the grounds of appeal in post 9, obviously those would be expanded on with help from us, every appeal to popla wins with those 100% of the time

Yep but did you include a postal address as part of the email submission, to hook the PPC firmly to responding only to you as driver?
The 14 days in which I only have to pay £40 instead of £70 is nearly up.

So what?! You won't be PAYING these jokers unless you haven't given your full name and postal address as driver (that's your only danger, that LEX will be daft enough to pay the fake PCN but they cannot and will not even hear about this if you have appealed properly).

Forget the POPLA website appeal points, look:

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/secret-reasons-you-can-use-in-your.html

You just need that POPLA code. Then read the 'newbies, read this first!' sticky thread please for 'how to win at POPLA'.

  • Yeah, I put my name and postal address in the online appeal and I have posted one to them today as well, with proof of postage.

I have informed Lex of what I am doing (we have to) and they are ok with it so they won't do anything without checking with me first.

Thanks for the link too, I have saved that in readiness for whenever the PPC deam me worthy of a response!

    Thanks.
    :)
  • Just thought I'd let people know that I've managed to get my PCN cancelled!

I Emailed the CEO of ASDA and received a call from his office the next day saying they had cancelled it for me. Result! :T

Thanks for the help you guys gave me thoguh, it was very much appreciated!
