Is this response ok re private parking fine notice

I received a private parking ticket for an overstay of a few minutes in a local supermarket - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4822289
I emailed complaining and they have responded saying that I need to contact the agent if I wish to appeal this as they think 1 hour is long enough to park in their store. I am planning to email them back stating something along the lines of the driver being just a couple of weeks past giving birth (which I had made clear in my complaint email) and therefore not being as mobile as she would normally, having her 2 young children with her, having to find a parking spot, deal with getting buggy and children safely out of the car and doing shopping, then getting buggy and shopping back in car as well as her 2 children. 1 hour doesn't seem sufficient in my opinion. Is that ok to email back saying something like that or should I just go straight through to the agent who sent the fine?

Just read your original thread.
Have you appealed to Athena yet? That needs to be done in parallel to complaining to the shops.
If you have not yet appealed to the PPC, you should be constructing your appeal remembering that you appeal as keeper, but refer to the driver in the 3rd person.
Also remember you need to give an appeal point and ask for cancellation or POPLA code, referring them to the latest POPLA November newsletter that confirms keepers can appeal and that POPLA will report failure to supply a POPLA code when rejecting an appeal, to the BPA.0 -
No as was waiting for a response from the supermarket which I just received. I have now let them know I'm appealing. Thanks.0
