Ukcps parking ticket help needed please

Hold my hands up I parked on a disabled parking bay when I shouldn't I know it's wrong and I defiantly won't be doing it again. Problem is I don't know where I stand with this I hold my hands up I was in the wrong but on the ticket it says the colour of my car is grey when my car is green you really cannot confuse these colours my car is not a greeny grey colour it's just green so I don't know where I stand I've tried reading through the newbie section on parking tickets but can make head nor tail of it all can anyone help please

looks like you have a parking charge ticket at the moment

you also havent said if this happened in england or wales either

in the meantime read the sticky threads again and wait for the NTK before you challenge it as registered keeper if you are in england or wales

Sorry yes it's a parking charge notice stuck to my windscreen, and in England it only happened earlier today

the colour wont make any difference to the contravention , it would not make any difference whatever colour you were either, had they put ic3 instead of ic1 or vice versa

read the sticky threads by coupon-mad to tell you what to do when the NTK comes through and in the meantime formulate your appeal to the PPC for after it does arrive

if you cannot get the ticket waived by the landowner or shops in the meantime , you appeal to the PPC after the NTK notice, and if that fails you put in a good appeal to POPLA based on various laws (not mitigation as that will fail , not the colour of the car either as that will fail too)

do this using the advice of people on here who have helped others and you will win, eventually

so stop being hasty and have a good read to clue yourself up on what it takes to get the ticket waived or to win a successful appeal

Yes, there's a lot to take in, but time is on your side. As long as you are the registered keeper of the car (or someone known to you is, e.g. family member), then you WAIT till they send you the Notice to Keeper. This will be at least 28 days away. (If it's a hire/lease/company car, then you'll have to appeal the windscreen ticket to avoid the hire/lease company being contacted.)

So, spend the time re-reading the newbies thread, slowly and carefully. Then peruse various threads on the first few pages of the forum to get the gist of what happens.

You will need to go through the process. UKCPS are known to take to court disabled space abusers, so you need to get this knocked on the head, probably at the POPLA stage.

Hmmm...the section that tells you to wait for the Notice to Keeper and then send an appeal as keeper - that's hard to understand, is it?!

Thanks for the rudeness coupon-mad no it didn't make sense to me at all, I suffer from severe anxiety and other issues and at the time I panicked and no I couldn't make sense of anything that was on the page so next time maybe you shouldn't be so judgemental of someone!

May I suggest that if you are having difficulties with Coupon-mad's guidance notes - that many people have already found helpful in the short time that it has been there - then would it be helpful to sit down with a friend who can understand it and can explain whenever you find it difficult?

The information is there and it can save you money when you follow it.

There are a number of us here who try to help, none moreso than c-m. But just look at how many active threads we have on the go at present. So we need posters to be able to keep up and use the information already available as no one has infinite time to spand.

So, try as I suggest and see how you get on.
