pcn recieved

i have just recieved a pcn in a local council run carpark, which i have appealed against. the attendent had only just issued the ticket as we returne dto the car, offence being overlapping out the bay. we explained to the attendant that when we pulled up there was a car in the adjacent bay, right on the line, causing us to have to go well left (end bay) as being on a blue badge needed room to open the door, this caused one wheel to be over the line, but not into another bay as were on end bay, attitude was couldn't care less. on examining the pcn sure that she had entered our car as being green, whereas it is fact clearly blue. does anyone know as veichle details were wrong can this ticket be enforced? as i said have already appealed

Colour of vehicle makes no difference so forget that.
Send a polite appeal explaining the situation, enclosing a copy of the Blue Badge (front and back) and asking the Council if they could possibly make a 'reasonable adjustment' under the Equality Act by cancelling this PCN for you under the circumstances as the contravention was minimal if at all, encroached on no other bay as it was the end of a row, and was caused by virtue of the disability need.
They might say no but if they do then the discount should be re-offered to you (see the back of the PCN about appeals received before day 14).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
