Tesco £30.00 apology card...where can I use?

I have just received a £30.00 card from Tesco so that they can apologise for an accusation made against me by a member of their staff.
I was wondering if I can use it for petrol at a Tesco filling station or if I have to use it in store as I wish to steer well clear of Tesco after my experience with them.

The voucher should state the terms of use on it, or provide a website link specifying such.0

I assume it's a blue moneycard? (Should say Tesco Moneycard on the front and have a pound sign design on it)
You should be able to use it anywhere with a till, including petrol stations attached to superstores.
The only place it won't work will be Esso petrol stations with a small Tesco attached.
They should also work online, although in this instance they require a credit/ debit card as well.
Basically, it's just a giftcard

If it's a gift card then consider selling it on eBay. You are likely to get more than £30 and hence cover your costs.Legal team on standby0

Yes, that doesn't make sense - moneycards can be used in-store for Tesco on-line ( Direct or GHS) but not, repeat not for 'Deals'.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Here's one sold earlier this month:
I can only assume that the buyer prefers to have £100 on a gift card rather than £102 in his Paypal account.
Effectively gets cash without the taxman being interested... just a guess.0
