All in One Printer recommendations?

I've just been driven demented by my Epson SX130 that refuses to recognise a magenta cartridge. You name it - I've done it! SO as the damn thing won't print when any of the cartridges are empty I'm looking for a new one.
I'd like an all in one - not bothered if its WiFi. but I do want individual cartridges and a printer that will operate in back or colour if one runs out!! I don't do a great deal of printing - just recipies, the odd photo & general info, letters etc
As a true MS'er I don't want to spend very much!

All suggestions very welcome!

ps: Anyone want a set of inks for an Epson SX130?????

Have you tried a different magenta cartridge? It sounds like it just has a duff chip as the others are working.

My SX200 won't work when any are empty and from memory I don't think the scanner will either. Thanks Epsom.
  • I very much like my Canon MG5450.

Canon are offering seasonal cashback on their latest all-in-one but I've not checked it out.

Had a look at the link to try but it does not cover the SX130 - Hmmm - wonder why?
