  • Managed to make the phone calls, neither was very helpful though so will just have to keep checking the bank accounts and hope the one (electric/gas change over) happens quickly so they don't take the full direct debit payment!

  • Hello Weekend!

Thank goodness the weekend is here, it always seems like less pressure to get things done on a weekend (even though im home throughout the day every day anyway!) :rotfl: I think its because DH is at home so helps a lot!

We are having Sunday dinner today so that tomorrow can be spent having picky bits and putting the tree up, making cakes, decorations etc! Thankfully we all love Christmas so its time to get out the nuts and nutcracker and fill the bowl with satsumas....thats when we know the season has really started! :j

Slow day today other than food shop this morning. Since a lady came and picked something up from ebay and paid cash that went towards the food shop and the rest was swiped through the food budget account - a £50 dent is better than a £100 one!

Few more bits finishing on ebay tomorrow and have more to get listed, everything seems to be selling really well at the minute. I also have a couple of school fairs coming up where im selling bits ive made etc so fingers crossed we may break even this month! :T

  • Hi Moneysavingmomma!!

I just wanted to stop by to say good luck! Our boy and impending bubba are also our motivation for busting our debt, the LBM only really happened recently and it was definitely our children that ignited it :)

You seem really determined and I will be subscribing and following to cheer you on :T

  • Hi Mrs Cheshire and Daisystar!

Hope youve both had a good monday - i generally look forward to them as it means the kids are back to school and i can get 5 minutes peace and actually finish a hot cup of coffee! j

Today though has been spent moving furniture around the living room to make way for the tree (that was meant to be put up at the weekend but other things got in the way) Finally happy with how it looks and spent all day hoovering where the sofas were and discovering hidden pennies etc which were added to the jar! Bonus! :T

Tomorrow will be spent wrapping parcels to post for ebay and getting some more pictures taken to list even more. Hubby keeps saying hes worried he will come in from work and find ive sold him to the highest bidder...if he doesnt show more appreciation for the lovelyness of the living room then i may just do it! (...anyone? anyone? no?! ok i guess i will have to keep him then! :rotfl:

ooh and because i havent left the house all day its a NSD here! Yayy!
