Hi,
Just looking into different methods of heating a room and came across this idea.
Seems quite unusual and I wondered if anyone had any experience and might know the positive and negative aspects of this.
Any thoughts appreciated

Skirting heating has been around for a long time. I used to work in an office with this system and I do not recall any difficulties. It obviously stands out from the wall further than a normal skirting board which might mean difficulties with standing cupboards and similar furniture against a wall. Installation might be difficult as piping would have to be run under doorways and around fireplaces etc. Fitting fitted furniture at a later date could also cause difficulties. I suspect though the main reason for it not being more popular is cost - but I have not checked that. It should give about 300 watts per metre run and give good even heating.0
