returning unused tiles back at B&Q

does anyone know if its possible i can return unusued tiles back at B&Q

situation is this i bought about 8 packs of tiles (6 in a pack) now i have 2 packs remaining unused left over which i dont need all sealed up and not open

i have my reciept still

so question is im i allowed to return the unused packets to B&Q to get some money back its its worth about £40 so quite a bit

We were advised when buying tiles to get more then we thought we needed so that we had enough of the same batch number in case of breakages, and return any excess for refund. Which we did

B&Q are very good about returns, you should have no problems.

O.P. If you have the receipt, then PTO and read..... B&Q have the returns policy on the back of the receipt... 45 days to return it


(I think 28 days for Homebase, SIX MONTHS for Wickes, no idea about Topps, but I've certainly returned tiles to them and they've been quite happy to refund).

£40 isn't that much and personally I'd keep those tiles just in case. In several year's time you may, for whatever reason, need to replace some tiles and by then you might not be able to find the same ones again. Then you're stuffed.
