Scottish Power - how to get an answer
I tried phoning Scottish Power yesterday but was repeatedly cut off or got a silent wait. I wanted to know when my refund was going to be credited to my bank account, as my SP account was closed at beginning of November.
I came across their Twitter account and also social@scottishpower.com email contact.
So contacted them on the above and promptly got a reply and now an answer to my query.

SP will call you back if you leave a number. I'm awaiting a similar refund and have been for 4 weeks. No doubt they'll blame my new supplier for the delay, while SP sit on £millions of refunds for a few weeks.0

It took SP over 2 weeks to reply to my call back request!
By then it was too late.
It seems some companies employ more people in social media rather than phone customer services, or they are less busy in social media!0 -
I sent them an E-mail over the weekend and got a reply on Monday so you must have been unluckyNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
