Barclaycard Credit File entries incorrect

I've just upgraded my natwest account from a basic to a silver account. One of the perks is the indetity theft protection. Through this I have access to my experian credit profile.
Now I did get into financial dificulties late 2009, and in February 2010 I took out a debt relief order which named barclaycard as one of my creditors, along with mbna and hsbc, and those accounts were frozen for a year and then cleared when the DRO finished 12months later.
Whilst checking my experian report I've noticed I have supposedly been defaulting on the barclaycard for 4 years which should have been frozen and then closed. In the past I have used equifax and they showed the card as closed. No interest has been added, in fact at some point the balance has gone down by a whole £1, but it's still there & probably the reason I've been struggling to get any credit at all.
I'm going to call them, but I've seen similar stories and banks basically telling the customer tough luck, so I need to know what the law is and the best way I can go about getting this all sorted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The account should be defaulted with a default date no later than the start date of your DRO. It should also be marked in some way to show that it is now satisfied and no more money is owing on the account. The satisfaction date MUST be no later than the end date of your DRO.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

For creditors that have the default date after the start of your DRO, or are not marked as settled or a partial settlement, you follow much the same procedure as in this link.
----> Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy
The principles on correcting the files are the same.
Except that you need to modify the letter to suit a DRO.
For example like the one here ---> https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/44051186#Comment_44051186Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
