How do you ensure you see your wins?

The Winners Circle was made secret by the previous admin, now the new admin can't undo its "secret" status because it has too many members (you have to have under a certain amount of members to be able to undo it, I think or maybe once a group is secret it can't be undone altogether. I can't remember.)

The only way to be able to join The Winners Circle is if you're invited by a member who is already in the group.

When googling your name, one thing you can do to reduce the number of hits that come up is after hitting 'search, click on "Search Tools" and then "Any time" and change it to 'last week' or 'last month' (depending how often you are checking). You won't get all the old stuff coming up then.

It also helps if you have a relatively uncommon name If mine was more common, I'd probably come up with a more unusual nickname and comp under that.

Social searcher, as suggested above, is useful, but quite basic. I search weekly for my name (in speech marks, as on google) along with competition, winner, prize and claim.

Had another thought. As well as just googling, I have google alerts set up for "My Name" Winner; "My Name" Congratulations; etc. You get emailed then if these come up, and putting the additional winning related words should reduce the chances of random stuff about other people coming up.
