Can anybody recommend a virtual router (preferably free) for Win7 that works?

Windows 7 has basic routing and NAT built in.
Extra software is required to act as a wifi access point.0 -
Have you tried doing a web search for "Virtual Router"? The top result on Startpage is for a program named "Virtual Router", which is free and works with Windows 7.

I've played around with the free versions of connectify and NAT32. Both eventually did the job of turning a wired connection into a wireless access point through a PC running Windows 7.
