I was dropping some items off to my son who resides in a block of flats , I parked my vehicle at the base of the flats on land adjacent to a car park lift, for vehicles not causing an obstruction in anyway to vehicles or pedestrians in fact another vehilce was parked there also. I have noted the the PCN from VCS states the "********** Dock" this is not the name of the location i was parked very similar but not the same , ********Dock according to Google is a large expance of water surrounded by concrete walls , The notice states the RK had parked in the restricted area of a car park and a minute elapsed from the time of the VCS employee seeing my vehicle and issuing the notice, I am fuming £100 for parking on what i thought was land owned by the building owners. for less then 10 mins is this exstortion on behalf of the company

How do they know the RK parked there, it could have been someone else driving? Are you sure that is the exact wording?
Anyway could you answer a few questions?
1) is this England or Wales ?
2) are you the registered keeper?
3) have you contacted anyone in relation to this?

Wait for the NTK like all the other cases on here. As shown in the sticky thread. In the meantime I was wondering if this land is actually covered by Port Authority byelaws so Google it and let us know. It helps your case at appeal, if there are byelaws there.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
