Good to hear your landlord is going to get the shower fixed eventually. In the meantime you could try using something like this bath hose which whilst not ideal is better than nothing.

Thanks Pixie, I tried that shower attachment this morning, it's better than nothing, but not nearly as good as the electric shower and hard to get the right temperature. So I'm hoping the landlord will let me pay for repair now and give her less rent in January so I don't have to use it for a month (or longer).Loving knitting for the Wooligans! :j my totals:

It's worth remembering that we're talking an hour of any generic handyman or DIY'ers time....
And I would say it is not your problem the landlord hasnt got the dosh it is their problem AND the agent should be telling them so.
Complain to the agent, agents just like landlorsd like peacefull easy lifes and they dont want landlords on their books who cause them trouble over stupid problems like not fixing a shower whickh should be £150 max to replace by a PROPER workman0 -
Good news! My landlord has said that they can pay now (after my offer to pay out of the rent) but I have to wait another week for their contractor, still it's much better than a month!
Thanks everyoneLoving knitting for the Wooligans! :j my totals:
