parking eye

Yesterday I received a PCN Reminder notice from Parking Eye. I didn't receive any other correspondence before this. The incident was for an overstay at a car park of 33 mins and they want £100. conveniently posting the notice so that it arrived outside the "discounted "period. I have read your threads and will appeal using one of the templates supplied, is the fact that they do not send out the first letter also grounds for appeal?

Just appeal as you are still in time I expect, and include the fact that their post is obviously playing up AGAIN as it's well documented that PE lose letters, as you never got a Notice to Keeper and you require a copy of it, and you believe the signage was too high and the charge clearly doesn't represent a true estimate of any loss.

If you were a customer & have proof of purchase, attach a copy too. Do it online NOW, writing as the registered keeper NOT the driver, as per the 'newbies, read this now!' thread at the top of the forum which you will have read I expect...?!

Also complain to the BPA that PE have not sent you a Notice to Keeper as, on this forum, we have seen this too much this month! PE cannot hide behind their postal problems and the only way the BPA are going to take action is if enough people complain. Use the Steve.C email addy shown on the newbies info thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
