Personally if it was me and you have "live" debts chasing you I would deal with those first, and if this one gets in contact deal with it then, if its over the 6 years you can try to get it dropped if its under you can arrange to pay small amounts each month.
Maybe you could consider setting another topic up with your income/ expenditure and what you owe see if others can help you out.0 -
well at the moment im on job seekers allowance, £54 a week, Gas and electric are about £20 a week , Food? whats that? lol My debts that i have found out about so far include £300 to a pilot store card that was taken out in 2002, an old debt to virgin media for £113, this lowell one at £697 and over payment dating back to 1998 amounting to £1908.90!! im in temp accomodation after splitting up with my partner, i was living in his house so the chances of getting a job are slim until i find out where im going to be staying. someone remind me why its a good idea to get your credit report??? lol0

I've had them chasing me for an unknown debt also. They can't produce a CCA and it's not on my report. I have no idea what it's for!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
