Bathroom Tiles (Wall and Floor)

I am in the process of buying tiles for our bathroom and was wondering between Ceramic and Porcelain tiles.
I was going to Buy Porcelain for both wall and floor but was told Ceramic will be cheaper for the walls and you wouldnt notice the difference on the walls.
so my question is is this true? what would everyone recommend?
how much would the average price be to tile a 20m squared for the walls and 5m squared for the floor for tiles.
Builder has quoted £800 to tile and fit a new ensuite and rip out the old ensuite

In danger of repetitive post strain injury.I was going to say about £30 sq metre so price OK.The repetitive bit, everyone thinks they can tile.It is a skilled finishing trade, you need to see a previous job. Setting out is very important. Not using tubbed adhesive is good.Using cement based backer board for tiling floor is good.No to PVA for sealing walls. No dotting and dabbing tiles. You could ask him to run you through the job.Check out tilers forum.Good luck.0 -
avg £25 p/m2 ceramic £50 p/m2 natural stone, you need to make sure of the weight of the tiles, plastered walls will only hold 20kg/m2 inc addy & groutI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
