Working from home - heat the house, or just the office?

  • Natural sun light do you have any?

Many put up blinds and block out most of the sun, even in winter if like me south facing the sun can heat this room up on many days.

Won't work every time but that little extra may help you.

Drafts have you any & can you sort them?

The office at work is warm with the computers and lights on & cooking with a wall heater, though we don't pay the bill.:D
  • I'm home based, but use the local library for free WiFi, heating and lighting especially in the winter.

Wrapping up, hot drinks etc. help me to keep warm at home even without any heating.
Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Says the poster who is such a wuss when it comes to switching off the shower whilst soaping himself (ooerr). :D
There are some comfort lines that I am not willing to cross! :D

For now, I will pay the extra to not get squirted with ice cold water in the mornings.:rotfl:

It would be a complete pain to go around turning off radiators in all the rooms so I could put the heating on in just one room

No. I'm just completely horrified at the thought of having to step foot in my teenagers' bedrooms :rotfl:
