Thomas Sanderson Blinds phone call

I don't enter any Thomas Sanderson comps, even if they are not for blinds. They're the only company I've ever had spam mail & calls from.0

I had a call from them today too. They were very insistent on a designer coming around and I was going to make an appointment to see if it was worth it, but they kept on asking when we would both be in to make a decision and really got me annoyed. I just told them to forget it in the end.2019: Footcream, tickets to homebuilding show,

I got a letter AND a phone call yesterday.
Him "you entered our competition"
me "Yes"
Him "but you didn't win but we can offer you £250 off"
me "yeah I know I got the letter"
him "oh"
me "right then bye"
him "so what shutters were you interested in"
me "none"
him "oh"
me "bye"
He was soo shocked at my answer I had a little giggle to myself, I never get away with such easy cold calls usually lol
My advice - tell them you got a comping addiction (not a lie is it....) and that you don't want any shutters/blinds and you are going to Compers annon for your addiction - see how that gets them lol"Knowledge will give you power, but character respect" ~ Bruce Lee0 -

Then came on here to see if i had entered, and thankfully found this thread.
I will be ignoring these calls, thanks for the heads up.:cool2:THANKS TO ALL COMPETITION POSTERS:hello:0 -

So they are still making out that the discount is a win? Ridiculous!0 -
I had one aswell, fair play the man was really nice. Told them I live in a private rented house. And that I want going to buy blinds and only to maybe move in a year or so. They can't say much after that.Thank you to all the posters

Kayles86 I too never give out home phone number on competitions, I have missed 3 calls today from unknown numbers on competition phone and 3 on home phone according to my son who is home today! I spoke to them 2 days ago and said not interested unless they could supply me shutters for £250 I had no spare money to pay anything on top.I had this about 6 months ago, even once on my home phone which I never use for comps!Fibro-Warrior0
