Thomas Sanderson Blinds phone call

Just had a phone call from them saying I've 'won' £250 off my first order of blinds and shutters with a 'design visit' as I entered a competition. He wanted to know which room the blinds were for.

I was caught on the hop and said I wasn't sure so he said he'd call another day.

No number / witheld.

Has anyone else had a call from them?

I've never entered a comp from Sanderson simply because I've heard SO many stories about their aggressive marketing. They basically offer £250 "discount" off their over inflated prices, but call it a prize. I'd be extremely surprised if you didn't have to spend any money on top of you so-called prize. To be honest, if the ring back I'd just tell them you're no longer interested.

I would ring them back but there was no number. He seemed very cagey when I asked him to repeat the company name. They're bound to ring again so I'll just tell them to remove me from their marketing list.

I told her I was moving so was not interested. She didn't really have a come back for that.

I have just had the same phone call, completely caught me off guard so she is calling me back tomorrow, think i'll ignore that one as she was being rather pushy, I don't even remember entering the comp but hey ho, I enter that many lol

I got one of their brochures in the post today - along with a letter saying I'd 'won' £250 off my first order.... It went straight in the bin

I had this about 6 months ago, even once on my home phone which I never use for comps!

I also had this call some time ago, I got really excited but then the rep came round & quoted £2200 for 6 small blinds.. & that was including £100 off & their 3 for 2 offer!! Ridiculous! x

Had the call last night (was in the middle of putting daughter to her bed so caught off guard). Have emailed them to cancel appt that was made and asked them to remove me from their database. Will not be letting them into my house if they do turn up to measure as heard they are very pushy and difficult to get rid of.
