i just got parking charge notice from parking eye, was in cambridge doing xmas shopping ,in somewhere i have been many times over the years, spent quite a bit of money shopping and have now been told i overstayed my welcome by half and hour and they want 85 quid, i never realised there was a limit and would have thought it was not for people using the shops. unfortunatelly i didnt realise this forum was around so i have appealed with an e mail offering proofs of purchase and photos of the bad signange (one small sign) and am awaiting a reply

check my thread for a recent decision on similar lines, they waived the charge, so dont be disheartened yet, although you may have now admitted that you were the driver

anyway , see what they come back with as they may drop it like they did with my relative for an overstay on a different car park
