Direct Line slams car & home insurance comparison sites. Get the best of both
Direct Line's current TV ad slams comparison services for not being comprehensive; primarily because Direct Line doesn't let them include it! This is why I've always said getting insurance is about maximising quotes in minimum time.
I've read and re-read the bit above, (highlighted in red) but I still can't work out what it means. Can someone please explain? Thanks.

I take it to mean: Direct Line doesn't allow comparison sites to include Direct Line quotes, therefore comparison sites can't be comprehensive as they do not include quotes from all insurers.0

Ahh I see, thanks honeypop and Twopints!
It was the unusual style of phrasing that confused me!:rotfl: However, to be fair, it's not an easy concept to express in english (without using clumsy repeats such as "Direct Line won't allow comparison sites to use Direct Line").
How sneaky of Direct Line to not allow comparison sites to list it (see what I mean about the grammar problem, lol!) and then have the audacity to accuse these sites of not being comprehensive! The cheek of it!
Long live comparison sites - that's what I say! :T0
