    Foxtons do charge a lot for multiagency. It could be 4% + VAT. It's 2.75% for sole agency from memory.
    The caveat being that One) Foxtons was not the soleintroducer, I found the property on the internet, and Two) foxtons refused totake my offer to the seller. Therefore as far as i am concerned, refusing thebusiness.

    But HOW did you find it? Via advertising on Rightmove? Presumably Foxtons put it there, and paid for that advertising, so you did use them to find the property.
