What to invest in with £1000??

Hi, I have always been interested in investing in something e.g shares, isa etc etc. Just want a bit of advice on what would be the best way to invest £1000 with no investment knowledge what so ever haha. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards Mason

My preference would be for a Vanguard ETF held via an online broker who does not charge a recurrent fee. If possible, go for a Stocks &Shares ISA account.

Since you have a monthly cash surplus, you can continue to build up your cash savings and from time to time buy another ETF or more of the same. That should give you scope for long term growth and diversification.
