Screwing into upve door frame (fitting a jammer)

Can i assume , to screw self tapping screws into a door (upvc) frame , i need a driver not a hand held screwdriver?

you will struggle with a hand held screwdriver ispecially if it has reinforcing inside the upvc which most doors will do, unless you are screwing into the panel and not the frame, cordless drill will make light work of it0
