Reduced from £39.99, TOYS R US are doing a Medion AV sender for the princely sum of £19.99!! Ideal if you have a second TV or PC at home and want to watch programmes beamed from your main telly. It will also send from your PC to a HiFi system so you can play all your favourite mp3 music on your computer and hear it throughout the house.

Also listed on the website ( here ) if you're having problems getting a set, but you'll have to pay postage on top i'm afraid :rolleyes:0

Anyone know how this connects to your tv/vcr/dvd/cable output?£2 savers club = £83.500

This is a decent little buy but which you can watch your sat/dvd upstairs it will only show what is on the TV downstairs, ie you can't sat upstairs and normal telly downstairs, plus you have to leave the downstairs telly on to watch the pictures upstairs :mad:0

I notices that the technica ones in tesco are down to 19.99 - i got a couple sets a few months ago and they work perfectly. They have the three plug av connections to scart plugs included. as the signal comes in then as a av you have the choice on the secondary set of wither ordinart tv or the av feed. I have my input end plugged in to a mixer box so split the feed from sat/dvd/vhs to the TV.
Dont know the medion one - although i have so much medion things in the house from aldi/toys r us i am sure it will be a good buy0 -
These are good but beware if you are on Telewest the sender does not use the same bandwith than the remote control so you can't change the Channel on the TV that the signal is being sent to.You have to go to the sender TV and change the chaneel there.
Saying that the picture quality is indistinguishable from the original0 -
i have a medion av sender and i can watch normal tv downstairs and sky upstairs with no problem and i also dont have to leave my tv on downstairs either, maybe if you are having these problems you may need to double check your connections to make sure you get the best from it. my mum has a different make av sender and i set hers up and she can do the same as meADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕0

hi,
just bought the medion av sender for my ntl digital,
and it displays but does not chang the channel.
i assume its wrong bandwidth
can anyone let me know if theyve done this?
also does that technica one work with ntl or not?
if not for both, does anyone know which one does, that doesnt actually cast that much?
cheersTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
I have had two (neither Medion branded I'm afraid), one would do ntl remote, the other wouldn't - but both do sky :-)I think....0

Can I point out that those of you who may have a wireless network, this plays havoc with it!
They both run at 2.4ghz which is standard WiFi bandwidthThe smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
