pcn from Met parking services

Hi everyone,
I received a PCN from MET psrking services after parking at a train station carpark (in England, no bye-laws are mentioned anywhere) for not clearly showing a valid ticket/permit etc, because I paid with RingGo, unfortunately it misrepresented an S instead of an F which is why I got the ticket but I have a couple of questions.
What are the chances that they'll cancel the ticket if I ask nice and show them the RingGo receipt and that I acted in good faith to ensure payment was made? or should I just wait for the NTK and make an appeal then? (my preferred option)
secondly If I have to write a more formal appeal stating the situation do I include all the other arguments like NGPEoL, bad signage, no contract with landowner etc, can they argue that the act of me trying to pay is some sort of acceptance of the terms of the contract?
feel free to chip in with anything you guys think relevant.
thanks for taking the time to read this

YEP!If I have to write a more formal appeal stating the situation do I include all the other arguments like NGPEoL, bad signage, no contract with landowner etc, can they argue that the act of me trying to pay is some sort of acceptance of the terms of the contract?
Nope they cannot. If you follow our advice at POPLA stage and ONLY appeal as the registered keeper (NOT the driver, no implying it by mistake!) then you will win.
So put the 'ticket' away somewhere safe, enjoy the festive season and forget about it now until after the New Year break and be ready to appeal as keeper to the letter (NTK) only, not talking about 'what happened' (unless you refer to the driver in the third person).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
