Won £500 gift voucher from this post - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4802169

But they changed the T&C's after I entered, to you have to spend a minimum of £1500 (so will cost me a minimum of £1000 to get anything from the prize)

Although the original T&C's when I entered simply stated:
T&C
Entrants must be aged 16 years or older, excluding employees of the promoter. By entering, you agree to be bound by all the rules of the promotion. . Voucher is only valid on engagement rings. Only one entry per person allowed. No responsibility accepted for lost, delayed, ineligible or fraudulent entries. Competition will end on November 23rd

    I've been Money Tipped!
That's not good , I would call that a discount rather than a prize.
Not really sure what you could do unless you had actual proof that they had amended the terms. Quite pathetic offering that as a prize really.

They admit to changing the terms half way through

"Simon Wright - Jeweller So I now can change my T&C's....not a big change. I don't see a problem with it being open to overseas entrants. You have to spend £1,500 before using your voucher, and you have to collect it and pay for it, I'm a bit sketchy on posting out things."

Not too sure what to do - and if it would really be worth it
They have probably sent a winning email out to everyone that entered.

    The email I received was....

    Congratulations, you won!

You’ve got £500 off a minimum spend of £1,500. The competition said it was to be spent on an engagement ring, but you can spend it on something else if you like. Or, you can give it to someone you know. I don’t mind, it’s up to you! If you do, just make sure that you tell me who it is and tell them to contact me.

I work on bespoke pieces, so you’ll have to make an appointment to come and see me. We can do some preliminary work over emails if you’ve got an idea of something that you would like – just give me some ideas or pictures or links to things on the internet and we can take it from there.

I won’t post up on my page that you are the winner just yet in case it is an engagement ring you are after, I wouldn’t want to let the cat out of the bag!

    Cheers,

Yes, just been looking through and found this thread

However as many entered before he revised the T&C's - he should honour the old T&C's to anyone that entered before ....

Pic says £500 gift voucher - not £500 discount on £1500 spend
But as he states his rings start at £1500 - don't think there is much difference
