I thought I knew how to connect TV, Video etc.. however whilst trying to do this with my new set up everything went blank, there is also conflicting info in the handbooks.
The kit is, a Sharp Aquos LC-37RD2E (HD ready TV)
Sky plus box.
Panasonic DVD recorder DMR-EZ25EB (with HDMI upscaling)

The Sky box says it should be in the middle of the chain of Scarts, but so does the Panasonic.
Its also not clear to me (my brain hurts!) whether I need both a Scart connection and an HDMI connection from the DVD recorder to the TV.
It was whilst I had the DVD connected to the TV via the HDMI that I altered a setting on the DVD recorder, I think it was 'Control with HDMI/Q link'when I lost the TV picture and had to do a switch everything off to get it back!

I'm rambling a bit now, so any help or pointers to a hook up guide would be gratefully received.
