Refund (out of stock goods)

Hi Guys.

I paid Maplins Electronics £64.99 by debit card for a camera watch (Xmas gift for a family member) on 19th Nov 2013. On the Maplins website (my account page) I found that the watch was not in stock and the order cancelled. Maplins did not notify me and had I not checked the website I would not have known. Ive emailed Maplins Customer Care also phoned. I believe a refund should have been automatic, as it is, dispite promises from Customer Care theres no refund as yet. Any Ideas as to the quickest way to get this sorted?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards.

Ed.
