OMG!! Got to thank Laks again, I entered the Heart / Awkward competition you posted to win £1000 & a TomTom... :T:T

I just got called by a DJ, they asked me to repeat my awkward story and they recorded it, as I am one of the daily winners!!!!

They are going to play it between 4pm - 7pm today. Heart Essex and across the network... :rotfl:

    It was when my daughter was younger, about 5 / 6, and she told me on the way to a school fete/fair that her friends last name was 'Heifer' and I replied to her that was a type of common cow...

    Later on in the school hall, after my daughter had been introducing me to all her friends (and their parents) we approached yet another family and said to her friends Mum, 'My Daddy called you a common cow' and immediately ran off, laughing very loudly, leaving me red faced and awkwardly trying to recover the situation to no avail, with the mum very angry and walking off, and for next 3 to 4 years she never spoke to me again - lesson well and truly learned... :rotfl:
