Help - Vista Media Player/Azureus

Help, all was ok on my old pc with Xp but have bought a new pc with Vista Premium.
Have downloaded a couple of films onto Azureus and tried to play them but am only getting the sound and no picture on Media Player. Get the message codecs reqd and have googled and seemed to download codecs for Divx but still no picture.
Have also tried Real Player, nothing at all with that apart from taking me to download.com for Divx codecs which I download but still no go.
Anybody else been there and sorted? Help appreciated
