Euro Car Parks fine at Frankie & bennys

Hi,

I went to the Frankie and Bennys in Salford quays for lunch, having been there loads before. However since my last vist Euro car parks have set it up as a paying car park. I was oblivious to this as i parked and then came back to my car to find a parking charge notice. Only then did i see some yellow sign saying that i had to pay to park.
Having read all these forum posts, I am tempted not to pay now but i just wanted to check given that there were signs up saying pay and display, I just didnt spot them. I have now had the note in the post reminding me to pay.
So what should I do?

Was this an overstay or was it pay and display and you didn't pay? I assume from your post it is the latter.

It was a pay and display car park that I didnt pay. Having been to the restaurant many times beforewhen this was not the case, it was not something I was looking out for and itwas only when I found the ticket and looked around, did I see at that point apay and display sign. The fact that I didn’t spot it on my way in suggests thatit was not visible enough.
I will email Andew Page so thanks for that.
In the meantime I will ignore any letters.

Why the heck of hecks would you do that after reading the advice on the newbies sticky thread? You seem to have mentioned a 'note' - Notice to Keeper?
