I got a newsletter through from Emerald Street today, stating that they will give £1 for every person signing up to their free email newsletter before 31 Dec 2013.

:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Or... people could just donate to a charity of their choice without signing up to a mailing list.
This is just a gimmick to get exactly this reaction and increase their business.:hello:0 -
Of course it is, but it is also a way that MSE'ers can give £1 to Refuge without costing themselves a penny, and doing a small bit of good for no cost sometimes can be what helps the DFWannabes on the path to debtfree-ness.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. It's an interesting site, bit of everything, beauty, fashion, culture etc....I'd never heard of it before.
I get tiddlywinks reservations about it, but my opinion is if it's something that interests me, I'll sign up (which I did), but if not then I won't. Nice to help out a deserving charity at the same time too.
