TESCO Rejected Claim

Hello. Tesco have sent me a letter rejecting my claim for mis-sold PPI, citing the fact that I ticked a box on the original application form. I'm not sure whether I did, or whether I didn't, but 13-odd years ago, I'm sure not a lot people knew exactly what PPI was, and if it was suitable for us or not. I know I certainly didn't.

Can anyone tell me if they have had a similar rejection letter and if it's worth making an appeal against it?

On non advised cases, it is for you to decide whether it was suitable or not.

What are your complaint reasons?

Tesco loans are applied direct typically and involve no sales agent. If you tick the box to have it and no agent was involved then it is difficult to see what you have to complain about. Hence we need to know your reasons.
