But were the estate agents aware of this at the point of emailing you the "quote"? I could phone an estate agents and ask what their rates are without disclosing anything about my property or only details which may reasonably lead them to assume the property is worth much more than it was.0 -
How many months have you had to read the contract?
As you know in Scotland we work on an offers over basis and if it sold for less then the property was overvalued at the start so it has probably taken sometime to sell.0
